Heat pump repair in Eden always includes a refrigerant charge verification, reversing valve test, defrost cycle check, auxiliary heat test and a full electrical inspection. Most heat pump problems trace back to one of those systems.
A heat pump that is iced over in Eden winter weather is usually a defrost control or sensor problem, but it can also be low refrigerant or restricted airflow. We find the actual cause so the ice does not come back next week.
