Heat pump repair in Kamas always includes a refrigerant charge verification, reversing valve test, defrost cycle check, auxiliary heat test and a full electrical inspection. Most heat pump problems trace back to one of those systems.
A heat pump that is iced over in Kamas winter weather is usually a defrost control or sensor problem, but it can also be low refrigerant or restricted airflow. We find the actual cause so the ice does not come back next week.

“Second opinion saved us over $2,000. Another company said we needed a new compressor. Shub tested it properly and it was a $180 contactor and capacitor fix. Two summers later it's still running perfectly.”

“Fair, fast and honest. The furnace repair was under $300 and the technician spent an extra ten minutes showing me how to change the filter properly. Great service.”
