Heat pump repair, service and installation for air-source, ductless and cold-climate heat pump systems. Serving Wales and Sanpete County.
Heat pumps are increasingly popular in Wales, UT because they heat and cool from one outdoor unit. When a heat pump stops heating, ices over or gets stuck in defrost, Shub Air Conditioning & Heating Repair provides expert heat pump repair in Wales and throughout Sanpete County.
Heat pump repair in Wales always includes a refrigerant charge verification, reversing valve test, defrost cycle check, auxiliary heat test and a full electrical inspection. Most heat pump problems trace back to one of those systems.
A heat pump that is iced over in Wales winter weather is usually a defrost control or sensor problem, but it can also be low refrigerant or restricted airflow. We find the actual cause so the ice does not come back next week.
Thinking about switching from a furnace and AC to a heat pump in Wales? Modern cold-climate heat pumps work well in Sanpete County temperatures and qualify for federal tax credits and utility rebates. Ask us for an honest comparison.
